Hello Join us for easy conversation and a few beers at the Mercado Central every Wednesday at 20:00.
We are a friendly and welcoming group of expats and locals who gather to chat in English. We welcome all levels and many speak Spanish too. We will try hard to make you feel welcome. Some of us have been meeting for more than a year so not everyone who comes signs up from Amigos Zaragoza. We have just begun announcing the meeting on this site.
Beer at the market is cheap. We strive to make it relaxing so you can make new friends and perhaps plan things for the weekend. We meet EVERY Wednesday.
Sometimes the Market is closed. In that case, we always move to Gallagher-s Irish Pub which is nearby.
We are not an "English Practice" group and have no strict rules about proficiency. Give us a try. We will help

Yes Sergio, we meet every Wednesday. I don"t always atend but there are always a few who come. If the Mercado bar is closed, we go down the street to Gallegher"s Pub.
Sometimes, no one shows up on time. If you arrive at 8 and don"t see anyone, wait for 10 minutes. Hope to meet you soon!

Hello to anyone considering joining us! It might help you to know that a small group of international people has been meeting every Wednesday evening at the Mercado Central for more than a year. Usually, 6 or 7 people show up but sometimes more.
The group was first established with an expat organization called InterNations. But since that organization has started pay subscript.ions, we have decided to continue without them. I hope you will join us and make some new friends.
